First Bath

We were having to sponge bathe Xander until the umbilical cord fell off.
We were excited to finally give him his first real bath!!
At first, he hated it!!!!Then, he realized, it wasn't that bad....And after, he was so happy to be clean and in the warm towel. :)

Xander's girlfriend

My little man already has a girlfriend, named Emma. Yes, she is a few months older, but there is nothing wrong with an older woman. ;)

It's Spiderman....oh no wait, It's Xander! :)

Music time....

When I was pregnant, I played music from my IPOD for Xander and we decided to see how he would react to some of the songs. Yes, our swing plays an IPOD. He did not react that much to the Michael Jackson song, but apparently loves Rap music. LOL!

Like father, like son

Do you remember when I posted this pic a while back of Josh sleeping?
Well, I guess you can say...like father, like son.

When they weighed him, he gained 3 oz. He is now 8 lbs. 9 oz. :)
Oh, and he had to be nude to be weighed....and he peed on me! Hahaha....oh the good life. :)

First feeding and time with Mom and Dad

Here are some photos of Xander's first feeding, other feedings, and time with Mom and Dad.

Time in the hospital

Here are some random shots of our time at the hospital.

Going Home!

Xander ready to go home!

Tummy and Swing Time

The Pediatrician told us that we needed to make sure to have a decent amount of Tummy time for Xander each day to help him get stronger....so here was our first attempt.
Also, here is Xander's first ride in his swing....which he just so happens to be doing as we speak. :)
Josh's Commander and wife also came to the house to bring us a homemade dinner for the first night we got home and little did we know that the Commander was going to "coin" Josh. "Coining" is a military tradition and it is an honor to be "coined" by your Commander.
