Snow on our Anniversary!
We have the best video of Hoosier, the snow was so high, at least 12 inches, that it was up to his chest, and he could not walk, so he had to jump like a gazelle. It was hilarious!
The next night, this was the pile of snow in front of the house after we shoveled the driveway. So, New Orleans, think you can compare????? :)
I'm just picking on my friends and family from Louisiana, you know I love ya'll, but wished ya'll could have been here to help shovel, as you can tell, this was NO FUN and I bet the snow ya'll got probably did not compare!! :)

Hoosier's Christmas Card...
So, for Every Single Holiday, my mom and dad, Hoosier's GRAMMY and GRANDPA, send him a greeting card in the mail and places a $1 bill in the card(just like my grandparents used to do). So, for Christmas this year, my mom and dad sent Hoosier a card with a little stocking in his card with the $1 bill in it and here are pictures of Hoosier with his new toy the "stocking". He could care less about the $1 bill, he just wanted the "stocking".

First Day of Snowfall November 19, 2008
This year the first day of snowfall happened exactly ONE day later than last year....if you think I am wrong you can venture back upon my post and check it out to make sure I am correct. :) I was out of town on training for work in Tokyo, Japan, but was flying home on this day. Josh called me and said, "I hope your flight does not get delayed because it is snowing like crazy here!" I was sad because since living in Japan, I have never missed the first snowfall, but although, I missed the first flakes, I have to admit I was amongst a lucky few who on that special day got to see the snow covered Japan from an PLANE....and I NEVER look out the window on the plane, I hate flying, but not on this day, I felt brave, and I am so glad I did, because what an amazing view I got to witness.

Here is a video of Hoosier getting hit with a snowball! :)

Halloween 2008
Josh was a Winnie the Pooh Gangster!
I was a French maid. Don't worry, it was a wig! :)
This is random photos of us with friends throughout the night.

I happened to see this GUY dressed up like a french maid, so I had to take some photos with him to see who looked better....I'll let you all be the judge. :)

Pumpkin Carving 2008
Hoosier even helped us.
When he looked in the pumpkin, this is what he saw. ;)
We both got our own pumpkin this year, and Josh told me that I had to do the "yucky" part, and clean the inside out. Funny thing is that, I have this little design painted on one of my nails to go with my Halloween costume on Friday(which is a surprise, pics to follow after Halloween though of course), and when I was pulling out all the gunk, I saw the design(which was black) and screamed, because silly me, thought it was a bug. Wow, only me, huh? :)
Anyways, it took me forever to get the gunk out of the pumpkin and Josh had already carved his pumpkin, so I was not able to get any pics of him in the process due to my hands being covered with gunk. However, here is his finished product, it is supposed to be a two-faced man, but Josh kind of got a little impatient(imagine that, hahaha) with the stencil, and it did not turn out exactly right, but you can get the idea.
Here is mine, it took me about two hours, and did not turn out that great, but I guess at least you can tell that it is a cat, spider, and pumpkin. :)

Hope you enjoy our little crazy married experiences while living in Japan, they are definitely good ones. :)

Navy Ball 2008

We did not have intentions of going to the Navy Ball this year, but since I work for the Navy and was the one to design the centerpieces for the tables at the ball, my boss gave me his tickets the day of the ball, so we decided to go. Josh was excited because he got to wear his brand new custom made suit that he had made for himself, and I have to admit it looked amazing on him. :) Don't you agree?
