I have been sending out thank you cards left and right and if you have not received one by now, it is probably on it's way.
Just wanted to share my thank you card for my Japanese co-worker.

Great Grandparents are so fun!!

Our grandparents sent some gifts too.
Josh's grandparents sent us some money and a baby picture of Josh so we can compare him and the baby when he arrives.
My Maw-Maw sent us a bottle warmer, wipe warmer, Johnson's bedtime bath kit, sleep wedge, bath water thermometer, bottle drying rack, and a diaper changing placemat...I think I got it all!

Baby Shower

My friends, Vanessa, Denise, and Scottie threw me an amazing baby shower.

I had a few of my closest friends come and Josh's boss (also a close friend) showed because his wife was out of town and could not attend.
My friends treated me so good. I got so many things, to include bundles and bundles of diapers! :) That is going to save a good chunk of money. I got cute bibs, clothes, elephant stuff galore, a gift certificate for a massage, etc.
I did not get a good pic of all the stuff, because it was scattered throughout our house when I got home, but here's a little idea of what I got....

I love my friends here because they help to make being away from family and the friends I grew up with a little easier!

Squatin' good time....or not???

I have lived in Japan for over 3 years and had never got a chance to take a picture of the Japanese toilets. I stole this pic from a friend to show you all...thanks Denise. :)

This is in men and women bathrooms and it is on the floor. So, basically females, strenghten your legs for a squat while you tinkle...and men and women, goodness forbid you have to go #2....cause you are are going to squat while you do it. Josh advises you to just remove your pants and hang them up. If you are anything like me you might tinkle on your pants too, after all aiming is not something us females excel at. Now, don't stress, sometimes they have what they call Western style toilets, which is what we have in America. However they have better features and these toilets have heated seats (like in our house and it is a luxury I tell you), sometimes play music when you sit down to cover up some"bathroom" noises, can spray water to clean your tush, and more. However, some restrooms, you are unlucky and have to "pop a squat"....so for a moment just imagine how much harder it is for a pregnant lady....

Waking up on the wrong side of the bed....or something similar

This is what we woke up to....went to bed, no snow, woke up, and we live in a snow globe.

We got some more packages in the mail from my parents.
There was a boppy, boppy pillow case, Dr. Brown's bottles, a bottle sterilizer, and the baby swing.
I am so happy, because we honestly NEEDED the bottles and sterilizer (since we do not have a dishwasher...unless you consider our hands a dishwasher). We spent a good time trying to decide which bottles we wanted to use and after researching we decided on Dr. Brown's.
Oh, and look how adorable the swing is.....I am getting excited just playing with all the new stuff.
