Josh's brilliant Idea!

So, as I mentioned before, my parents always send Hoosier a card for every holiday and inside they put $1 bill. So, Josh decided it would be smart to get Hoosier a piggy bank to start putting his dollars in and when he had enough saved up, we would buy him something with it. So here is his piggy(a.k.a. "doggy") bank we got him. I say it's for his college fund! :)

Josh and I on our 5th Anniversary!

On 21 December 2008, Josh and I reached our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We celebrated this huge milestone(well, milestone so far for us) by spending a day the spa and having a nice dinner at our Favorite restaurant in Japan, called Yoshinos. What an amazing Anniversary we had and many more to come! ;)

Snow on our Anniversary!

We have been a little deprived of the snow these days. We had a lot the first day, but since then, none really, until our Anniversary, 21 December, it snowed all day, night, and the next morning, and this is what we woke up to.
We have the best video of Hoosier, the snow was so high, at least 12 inches, that it was up to his chest, and he could not walk, so he had to jump like a gazelle. It was hilarious!
The next night, this was the pile of snow in front of the house after we shoveled the driveway. So, New Orleans, think you can compare????? :) I'm just picking on my friends and family from Louisiana, you know I love ya'll, but wished ya'll could have been here to help shovel, as you can tell, this was NO FUN and I bet the snow ya'll got probably did not compare!! :)

Hoosier's Christmas Card...

So, for Every Single Holiday, my mom and dad, Hoosier's GRAMMY and GRANDPA, send him a greeting card in the mail and places a $1 bill in the card(just like my grandparents used to do). So, for Christmas this year, my mom and dad sent Hoosier a card with a little stocking in his card with the $1 bill in it and here are pictures of Hoosier with his new toy the "stocking". He could care less about the $1 bill, he just wanted the "stocking".

COMM Christmas Party 2008!

On, 18 December 2008, we had Josh's Christmas Party for work, and we got all dressed up and went to the Enlisted Club for a fancy evening of fun and relaxing time. Our favorite part was of course getting to dress up. :)

First Day of Snowfall November 19, 2008

I know I am late, but please excuse me, I have been busy planning a trip HOME!!!!!!!
This year the first day of snowfall happened exactly ONE day later than last year....if you think I am wrong you can venture back upon my post and check it out to make sure I am correct. :) I was out of town on training for work in Tokyo, Japan, but was flying home on this day. Josh called me and said, "I hope your flight does not get delayed because it is snowing like crazy here!" I was sad because since living in Japan, I have never missed the first snowfall, but although, I missed the first flakes, I have to admit I was amongst a lucky few who on that special day got to see the snow covered Japan from an PLANE....and I NEVER look out the window on the plane, I hate flying, but not on this day, I felt brave, and I am so glad I did, because what an amazing view I got to witness. Here is a video of Hoosier getting hit with a snowball! :)

Life-sized Christmas Card!

So, every year Misawa AB has a Life-Sized Christmas card contest for each command and the Navy command I work for competes every year. This year, I was the only one that had artistic skills, so they recruited me, and here is the completed project.

Merry Christmas!
