Not Me! Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to http://www.mycharmingkids.net/ to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

Hmmm, to begin my first Not Me! Monday! post, where should I begin....

Okay let's start out with how I totally did not find out some of the best news that is still not a secret.
I did not whine and whine when I gave blood for the needle did not hurt one bit, no never me!
I did not baby sit my friend's children on Saturday so her and her husband could go on a date, and did not count down until they would arrive home.
I did not ask my husband a million and one questions about random things that probably make absolutely no sense, no not me!
I did not have to say goodbye to my best friend that lives in Japan because she is not moving.
I did not smile instead of cry when we did not say goodbye, because my husband totally did not bet me a shopping spree for smiling instead of crying!
So, that's my first Not Me! Monday! post, enjoy!

Photography

I figured that since Josh got me this fancy camera for Christmas, I might as well learn how to use it properly.

So, let's call this Photography by Brandi.
This snail was on our sliding glass door.
The batteries were bright and photographed really good.
The entertainment center, by the way the roasted garlic triscuits are amazingly delicious.
Strawberries.
My favorite to photograph, Hoosier.

Cabinet meat...

Has anyone ever wanted to eat cabinet meat...do you even know what that is?
Well if not, it is self-explanatory.
This is Josh's artwork that I found when going into the kitchen the other night.

80's night!

I know it has been a while since my last post. I have a good excuse that I have been busy with school lately. But that is besides the point.

In May we were invited to my friend, Denise's, birthday party. The theme was 80's and we had to dress the part. It was a lot of fun....
Since the current news today and the 80's theme, I'd also like to pay my respects to Michael Jackson for being totally awesome and having some of the best music I've ever heard.

Out with the old, and in with the new...

We finally got a new entertainment center.
When our old TV went kaput, geez, does everything go kaput on us over here, we got a new TV and painted the old stand black. Everytime we would touch the stand the paint would chip off, and it was real, well, crappy.
Before(Old):
We finally decided, let's order new furniture. It took about 2 months to get here, but it was well worth the wait!!
After(New):

Josh's new car!

Well, about a month ago, Josh's old car, the Toyota Surf, went kaput!! We were pretty upset about it because when you move to Japan, we buy these cars that are years and years and years old and hope that they will last us until we leave...well Josh's car did not last us. We had to junk his car at the Junk Yard.
RIP: Toyota surf 2006-2009

Then, we were searching for a new car to buy.
I told friends to keep a look out for vehicles because we needed one, and well I guess I told just the right friend. Reason being, that friend told us he had a vehicle that he would just "give" us! I said, "how much?" He said, "free". I said, "what's the catch"? I know as good as anyone else, people do not just give away stuff, much less cars, for free. Well, it turns out he had bought another vehicle and was going to give the car to someone else and they did not want it. So, then he offered it to us! I said, "Um yeah, we'll take it!" Josh said, "I don't care if it is puke green, it's free."
So, this is where our new life began with the Pajero Mini, yes don't forget the word Mini. When we sit in it, sometimes our shoulders touch each other, that is how small it is. There is a ridiculous amount of room left in the garage when it is in there too. If it was not a standard, I would claim it and give Josh my car.....but I'm learning how to drive it. ;)Josh calls the car Jerome, everyone else calls it Jeromi.
