Video of Hoosier playing

Here is a video of Hoosier playing in the backyard...Enjoy!

Josh and I playing

So Josh and I went into the crazy store and found some AWESOME Sunglasses, so we had to take photos with them on and here goes:

Also, we went into a Japanese photo booth, and what it does is takes a pic of you and adds a background, so we had to pretend we were:
On a slide:
On a train:
By some cherry blossoms:

It was a lot of fun and actually turned out to be cute pics!!

Crawfish sounds so yummy right now, however......

Japanese consider crawfish as a pet, and they are kept in a cage, and sold for $19.80 a piece.....so I doubt we will get crawfish anytime soon :(

Seven fabulous, or not so fabulous things about me....

Our New House! Or should I say HOME!!! :)

So, we decided to move off base, so we could get reeled in to the Japanese culture even more. We looked and looked for houses, everyone we liked was taken, then we found this one, and it was our favorite out of all the ones we saw. We Love our new house!! :)
Yes, it is purple(which is my fav color)! Just some highlights on the house. It is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. It has A/C, which our on base house did not have(and it gets hot here in summer), it has hardwood floors, it has a garage with an automatic door, it has heated toilet seats for winter(yes, heated seats to keep your tush warm). Here are some pics:

This is the welcome sign that I painted and here is a photo of the outside of the house.
This is the dining room and kitchen.

This is the living room.

This is the entry way. The tiled area is called a "mud room", this is because we are americans, who live with Japanese customs, therefore, we remove our shoes here.

This is the bathroom. Okay, so the shower. All in that one room, you can take a bubble bath, take a shower in the tub, stand outside the tub and shower, sit on a stool and shower, there are so many possibilites. It is great!!
This is our bedroom.
This is the computer and game room.
This is the 3rd bedroom, as you can tell, we don't know what to put in it yet.

This is in the hallway, so I put Hoosier's scrapbook on the shelf.

Here is Hoosier with his spiderman toy in the new house.

So all in all, this is our new HOME and we love it!

Lake Towada Fireworks Festival

A few weeks ago, we went to the Lake Towada Fireworks festival. We went with a bunch of friends, and we had a picnic, bbq'ed, and just hung out until the fireworks started. It was a lot of fun. This is Josh and I at Lake Towada. This is me and the girls! This is Josh and I patiently waiting for the fireworks to start.

Six UN-important things about myself....

What to know a little more about me?

Jenifer tagged me, so here goes:

1. I could have all the money in the world, and it still drives me crazy to spend it. I don't know why. Some would and have said I'm cheap, but I disagree, I still go on vacations and do many things that involve spending the buckaroos, but something just bothers me to do it. I will probably contradict myself because I will splurge on us, but at the end of the day I am a big time saver!!

2. I am addicted to Jalopeno Cheetos, but hardly buy them(not because I want to save money), because I would eat the whole bag in one sitting and feel guilty afterwards.

3. I am a movie fanatic and I want to dance with Josh in the rain, just like in the movies...however, I would probably be counting the seconds until I could go dry off....or maybe not. I will only know when it happens.

4. Moscato D'Asti is by far the best champagne I have ever tasted. Anytime we have a get together, I usually have some. Yum, I can taste it now.

5. I am a cleaning freak, I can't stand it when my house is dirty. I am so picky that I don't own a mop, I use a sponge and get on my hands and knees to clean the floors. Crazy, I know!

6. I realized it is hard to think of UN-important things, because they are usually the least things you think about...but lastly, I would love a big ole' bowl of cookie's n' cream ice cream, but I am lactose intolerant so it makes me ill...but ooooooooo, would I love some right now!!

Now you know some more about me.

I tag Jessica Schoenberger.
